This state park is only accessible from a path from the commuter lot on Cottage Grove Road, a secret path leading out of Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery or a old carriage road in Keney Park. None of these paths are maintained and most of the park seems to be a swamp. I'm not sure if the famous glacial sand dunes are part of Matianuck or Keney Park, but those are definitely the attraction. A friend of mine found a dime from 1910 in them.
